So, is automation dead in the water or a work in slow progress?

I'm taking it as a slow work in progress.

The latest...

OnRoto is still promising to get to our changes, but have been behind due to a large influx of new leagues from a site that folded.

Our fee had been $75 per league. In exchange for our patience, they have dropped it to $20 this year, and $50 ongoing. For us, this means that I haven't had to worry about checking everyone's payments yet (but will be shortly). This'll drop our fees per team next year to $6. I'll be giving credit next year for "excess" paid this year (basically anything over $3 per team), since I don't really have a good mechanism for refunding. (We really should try to get to 11 teams per league, so I can divide everything by 10 to compensate for the free LA team!) It looks like, if everything works out (everyone pays up), everyone should be playing their current teams for free next season...

If you haven't paid yet, I'll be sending an e-mail (probably next weekend) asking for the $3 per team (not playing for free next year, though).

The plan is still to convert automate over the rest of the season, starting out with a handful of leagues to give it a good test. If that doesn't happen, we'll be looking for a new site for next year (which will obviously change the previous two paragraphs).

Can we assume that the stretch run rules will still apply because we haven't automated ?
