I cast my vote for 24/270. But then I like the second utility player too.

I would suggest that we leave the roster size and salary cap as is.

I voted 23/$260

Some of you oldtimers may remember me as KillerBees from 1998-2002. I am back, but my Killer Bees of Astros fame are regrettably gone. Considering the current state of my Astros, I am now WaitTilNextYear, and probably will be for years to come.

Or considering that the Astros' "reward" for agreeing to switch leagues was to be dropped into the AL West, you might consider WelcomeToHellandFifthPlace.

I guess I must be getting old. I am thinking in terms of the length of the draft. Trying to stay awake longer than necessary sways my vote. I'll go with 23

i haven't voted yet...i like the 2nd UT more than a 10th pitcher...aren't both of these options dumping the 2nd UT anyway? why can't we have 15 players and 9 pitchers? idk which way to vote sry!

When is a final decision going to be rendered on roster size/salary cap?

The 2nd UT destroys all of the strategy in the auction, so it is going away (since there hasn't been a groundswell of support for it).

So the final roster size for both NL and AL is going to be 24 players that includes 10 pitchers?

We need to make this final so we can start figuring out keepers/toppers and so the trading can begin!

Rick, according to the poll, it is 14/9 260. I think this is unfortunate in the National leagues because it makes players less valuable, and I think we should have been given a choice to distinguish between leagues, but we were not.

So are both the AL and NL going to be 14/9 @ $260?

Let's officially end this Poll on Friday at Midnight Eastern. That'll give those on the fence one more chance to make their voices heard.

"Less valuable" = "More depth", and by far the biggest complain we ever receive is the lack of depth on the available lists during the season.

With a 16-10 vote, we go back to the "gold standard", with 14 hitters and nine pitchers!
