Activated player posted on reals Friday, which means he's not available either to be claimed or awarded in the highest bidder until after 10 p.m. Sunday.

Team has exhausted his quota of claims for the week ending at noon Sunday, but wants to submit a bid for the player.

Because the award isn't until the next week, is the bid refused or will it be accepted?

I would think it proper to accept the bid because the player isn't eligible for claiming until the next week.

The deeper reason is the issue when a player becomes available.

In a recent experience, a FAAB was awarded negating an earlier transaction. On the day the player appeared on Reals, a rostered player was released to accommodate a reactivation. The same team also submits what eventually becomes the high bid for the player on Reals with instructions to release the same player released during the reactivation.

How could the earlier transaction be cancelled if the player isn't available for 58 hours?

IMO, it would depend on when the post is submitted with his bid.

If he makes the bid after noon on Sunday, then it would count against his next week's charges.

If he were to make the bid before noon, it would have to be denied if he did not have any charges available for that week, because the transaction would be effective the time of the claim (bid), just as if it were a normal charged transaction.

Correct, because when the bid is submitted determines when the transaction tasks effect.
