Fantasy Hockey 2007-08

Fellow Owners,

I've been trying to get in touch with the Commish Bob Aube but it has been rather inconsistent; I haven't heard from him in about a week or so.

Meanwhile, maybe we can do a head count. I see that Frank, Tom and Ray have checked in and myself makes four. Who else is out there and wants to renew their team(s) for this year?

The season starts on Sept 29th which barely gives us time to get set up and running, but it is doable. I might have to ask for some help if I'm doing it myself.

Joe,

The elder Frank is also ready to go. I know someone looking for a team if one becomes available.

As I said in my original post, I'm willing to help in anyway I can.

BTW.... just to make it official, I want all three of my teams back.

Thanks,
Frank

Hi guys, I'm here, and ready to get things started.

The first task, as Joe said, is to figure out how many owners are returning. If we do try to keep all three leagues intact, I'll be looking to give up at least one of my three teams, if not two, mainly because my availability for drafts is going to be limited due to a busy work schedule. So even if everyone else comes back, we'll have openings.

Although the season begins two weekends from now with the two games between the Ducks and Kings in London, let's ignore those games and shoot for Oct. 3 as the starting date. That means we'll need to schedule drafts sometime between Friday, Sept. 28, and Tuesday, Oct. 2. Please let me know what your availability is for drafts on those nights, and also let me know if you'd be available for afternoon drafts on Sept. 29-30.

Master player file

Postby baube » Sun Sep 16, 2007 12:45 pm

Frank,

Would you be willing to put together the master player file again? You did a great job with it last year, and I don't know if I'll have time to do it myself while also doing a master schedule.

Guys,

COPP is back to defend the Orr title.
I agree with Bob about tossing the London games.

Bad days/times for me from Bob's list:
Every night before 8pm ET and entire Sat 29 Sept.

All other days/times are good for me.

I'll be happy to do the master file again. Sorry to say I'm a little fuzzy on what I actually did, so you'll just have to give me the directions again.

Draft availability:
Saturday - anytime after noon
Sunday - I'll have to get back to you. I have something pending and don't know the start time yet.
weekdays.. Mon - Thur - I have to leave for work around 10:30 PM. So I can do the drafts, just hope they go quickly.
Friday- good any time in the afternoon or evening.

Also, do we have a current BOSSY roster floating around? The one online is from February. I can tell by my last lineups that some changes were made.

Thanks
