Glasnow claim

How is it that Glasnow was rejected in another league because he was sent back to the minors immediately after the game yet here in Uecker he was approved?

It has to do with the timing of the claim. My claim was sent on the 7th, so it would be effective on the 8th. In Mocksports, ever sine I have been playing in this league, all transactions, whether they be options, DL stints etc, have all been retroactive to happen at 12:00:01 on the they are removed from active status. So my claim would have been good since it was before noon on the 8th of July, then after the noon hour, he was optioned back to the minors, making him my property and reservable.

Another reason why I so dislike this hands-on method of running leagues

Ed,

It has been awhile since this transaction was processed and during that time I have been in the hospital for an extended period of time. So this is testing my memory for sure.

My recollection though is that he was called up one day and pitched and was then sent down the next day as per the MLB transactions. I believe I had two or three bids for him. And I believe the FAAB expiration occurred after he was sent back down to the minors. So he was eligible to be bid on and claimed as he was on a major league roster for one day. I did have to check on how to process the bid and once that was explained to me, I was able to process the winning bid.

Hope this answers your question.
