I blew a 16 point lead in September.
A result of bad pitcher management vs good pitcher management. A couple of times I lost shutouts due to late posting.

Congrats to Bleacher Creatures for not giving up and for excellent management whether he wins or not.

It’s a bit embarrassing, but at least I am repeating in Berra

It seems to me it's been awhile since we had a league decided by tiebreaker. If my "Live Standings" are correct, Bleacher Creatures wins based on the head-to-head categories tiebreaker. Rick's team led Pat's in runs, HRs, RBIs, batting average, strikeouts, and saves + holds/2. Congratulations to both managers for an incredible finish and two great seasons!

twice this season I missed the noon cutoff by less than an hour, thus losing two shutouts. On such the season hung.

L doubt that there has ever been a closer race.

Congratulations Rick

Thanks!

About two weeks ago, I didn't think I had a chance to even give Pat a run for the championship, but then the winds started blowing in my direction and I got extremely lucky.

Can't remember a race ever being decided by a tie-breaker. Great season. In reality there were a coupe of great races in different leagues that were exciting to watch. I believe Clemente and Uecker were the most exciting I have seen in several years, if ever!

Thanks again!

Rick and PatK

Job well done by both. This was a very exciting finish, and probably the closest I have seen in all my years
here and on CompuServe.
