Who will be the LA?

Any volunteers in Berra? Remember, to stay manual, one of the Berra owners needs to be the LA. If we get multiple volunteers, we'll have a vote.

Why does a member have to do it? Crosley has already volunteered. If a member has to do it, I will but I would give way to anyone else in the league.

Crosley will probably be plenty busy with other duties. But it's up to him, of course.

A member should be LA in order to have buy-in. An owner/LA should be less prone to falling behind. The league will still have a commish to act as the clearinghouse for FAAB bids, and if the LA needs assistance, and will also be watching the OnRoto leagues to see if things go sideways. That's the kind of role I have in mind for Cros (although at this point, that's a surprise to him, probably).

Although I am willing, but not eager to LA for Berra, I would be incompetent to run the auction even if I were not participating. That was true when I was the LA for Calhoun. My computing skills have not improved.

I am hoping to get as many independent auctioneers as possible. It's so much easier to run an auction if you don't have to worry about bidding, and having to run the auction and pick a team usually ruins the team, too.
