Consider both the FAAB claim of Pomeranz above and Herrera's availability off the waiver wire as an FAAB "prospect" as pending. There is an issue regarding the effective date for Pomeranz that awaits a ruling from the Commish.

Crosley - two thoughts. First, it seems unfair to retroactively act on these claims as bids have already been disclosed. Second, if we are using onroto for transaction data the only date for Pomeranz is the day he was acquired. This is how onroto has operated with other trades this year as well - Shields, Hill, Ziegler. I know I was relying on this onroto date to post a claim. I don't see how we can do anything different here unless we are going to rely on a different source for transactions or LAs are going to have to post notices for traded players, which seems like a nightmare for all involved.

I have read the topic "James Shields" in the SPARKY League, which is why I brought the subject up.
